BURN

BURN (H.I.I.T)

BOX 219 GYM "BURN" classes are 50 minutes of action in our H.I.I.T. area, a.k.a. "THE FIREPIT". All BURN classes are time-based. Each class starts with a 4-5 minute warm-up, followed by anywhere from 2-5 rounds of high-intensity interval training, depending on the timer and class type, and will conclude with a 4-5 minute cool down. Each BURN class made up of a varying number of stations to be performed in a circuit format. The body part focus in BURN classes will coincide with the body part focus of the BOX class intervals for the same day. There are 4 variations of BURN class types: UPPER, LOWER, FULL(BODY), and CORE. The 4 types of BURN class are described in more detail below.

BURN : UPPER

BURN : UPPER classes will be cardio-forward with a focus on maneuvers that utilize the chest, back, shoulders and arms.

BURN : LOWER

BURN : LOWER classes will be cardio-forward with a focus on maneuvers that utilize the quads, hamstrings, glutes and calves.

BURN : FULL

BURN : FULL classes will be cardio absolute and focus on moves that use multiple body parts with the goal of lighting the entire body on fire! 

BURN : CORE

BURN : CORE classes will be cardio forward with a focus on maneuvers that utilize the core and abs.
